After a careful selection there is the important and delicate roasting process that takes place by single origin; this characteristic distinguishes Torrefazione Portioli. Each quality of raw coffee has its own peculiarities, related to the origin and to the climatic trend of the yearly production (drought or frost). For this reason, a personalized and single origin roasting is performed, which aims to enhance and exalt the organoleptic characteristics of the quality of raw coffee, thus defining the identity card of the roasted coffee.
Moreover, all phases of the production cycle are carried out within Portioli’s plant, from cleaning and selection of raw coffee, to roasting by single origin and packaging in different formats to storage the product. These activities take place in dedicated areas. All this is possible thanks to the work of qualified people and the use of state-of-the-art machinery that always guarantees constant control and ensures maximum compliance with product traceability and safety requirements. Traceability and safety are also guaranteed by the monitoring of the quality assurance department, which together with a state-of-the-art computer system, record and make available all information regarding our coffee products.
